Outcomes for International Graduates from the Class of 2022

This short report considers the extent to which international (non-Irish domiciled) graduates return to their home continent for employment or further study, if they are not in employment in Ireland. It uses data from the Graduate Outcomes Survey of 2023 (Class of 2022). It should be noted that throughout the report the responses are based on survey data and sample sizes can be small.

The data shows that over seven in 10 international graduates who are in employment nine months after graduation were employed in Ireland. This analysis focuses on those three in 10 who were employed overseas; and also considers those in further study overseas. Given small sample sizes, countries are grouped into continents for part of the analysis.
