Technological Universities
New Technological Universities will be created under the reforms set out in Ireland’s National Strategy for Higher Education.
TU Research and Innovation Supporting Enterprise (TU RISE) Scheme
Under TU RISE, €83.68m will be made available to higher education institutions in the technological sector to support research capacity building with a focus on enhancing engagement with regional enterprises.
The Technological Sector Advancement Fund
The Technological Sector Advancement Fund is a €50 million fund providing targeted support for initiatives that are critical to the strategic development of the technological sector.
National Technological University TransfOrmation for Recovery and Resilience (N-TUTORR) Project
The National Technological University TransfOrmation for Recovery and Resilience (N-TUTORR) is a €40m collaborative project that seeks to transform teaching and learning in the technological sector.
Technological University Transformation Fund
The Technological University Transformation Fund is a major multi-annual fund totalling €90 million from the government to assist and support the development and progression of technological universities.
