Institutes of Technology: Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), and Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology (IADT).
Specialist Colleges: Mary Immaculate College (MIC), National College of Art & Design (NCAD) and St. Angela’s College, Sligo (STAC).
Technological Universities: Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Munster Technological University (MTU), South East Technological University (SETU), Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS).
Universities: Dublin City University (DCU), Maynooth University (MU), RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences (RCSI), Trinity College Dublin (TCD), University College Cork (UCC), University College Dublin (UCD), University of Galway and University of Limerick (UL).

For the purpose of the HEI Staff Profiles by Sex, Gender and Ethnicity, from 2022 onwards, data included under the Associate Professor category from the University of Galway is comprised of staff with the grade/title “Professor In”. Posts at this grade were introduced in 2022. From 2022 onwards, University of Galway staff with the grade/title of “Personal Professor” are included under the Professor category. This change was made at the request of the University of Galway.
