Policy and Strategic Planning (PSP) informs and supports the development of higher education policy and practice through the establishment of Policy Forums comprising national and international experts from across the sector, undertaking sectoral reviews, managing initiatives and programmes, and participating in national and international forums, committees, and working groups. PSP plays a key role in informing the development of HEA strategy through overseeing the development of the HEA Corporate Strategic Plan and implementation of its strategic objectives through Annual Plans.

The PSP team is committed to fostering an innovative, sustainable, and inclusive higher education system that reflects the diversity of the Irish population and is responsive to the needs of students, institutions, and society.
