The Strategy for Student and Staff Health & Wellbeing sets out a shared vision for supporting student and staff wellbeing across Ireland’s Higher Education Institutions.

Developed in collaboration with the the HEA Student and Staff Health and Wellbeing Advisory Group, the strategy recognises the unique challenges faced by students and staff, and the importance of fostering learning environments where health is prioritised. It outlines key strategy priorities and objectives to promote health, positive mental health, and wellbeing and ensure that timely, appropriate support is available to all.

In combination with the Healthy Campus Charter and Framework and the National Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Framework, the strategy is intended to guide the development and implementation of HEA policy in the area of health and wellbeing, to promote a higher education system where every student  and staff member can be healthy, supported, and thrive.
