    The annual Key Facts & Figures dashboard provides a thorough profile of the graduate population in higher education institutions. The latest dashboard includes figures from 2015/16 to 2021/22.

    Note that the last four dashboards relate specifically to Graduates, while the remaining eight dashboards relate specifically to Students.

  • 2. Graduate Outcomes

    Tracking graduate outcomes is crucial to improving the quality of education for students, and outcomes for graduates. In assessing relevance of studies, gender pay gaps and employment outcomes (amongst many other factors), policymakers can bring the voice of graduates to the forefront of evidence-based decisions.

    Currently, there are two main approaches to tracking graduate outcomes – through the HEA’s annual national Graduate Outcomes Survey, and also through longitudinal administrative data housed in the Central Statistics Office.
