The vision of the National Access Plan is to ensure that the student body entering, participating in and completing higher education at all levels reflects the diversity and social mix of Ireland’s population.

Funding the Plan
On behalf of the Department of Education and Skills, the HEA manages two funds that are designed to enable students from the equity of access target groups to participate in higher education: the Fund for Students with Disabilities and the Student Assistance Fund.
