On 12 May the Minister for Education and Skills announced the details of an independent review into governance, HR and financial practices and procedures at the University of Limerick. The HEA will oversee the review and has appointed Dr Richard Thorn, President Emeritus of Institute of Technology Sligo, to conduct the review. The HEA will provide administrative support to the review. The terms of reference of the review are attached.

The HEA now invites any persons who wish to raise matters of concern or public interest that are relevant to the work of the review to do so by making a submission to a dedicated email address: mailto:ulreview@hea.ie Submissions will be accepted up to 5 p.m. on Friday 9 June 2017.
